
Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) professional experience working with mental health and substance use disorders. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University San Marcos and went on to complete her master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of La Verne. Jessica collected her practicum hours at the House of Ruth where she helped families, children, and adolescents recover from domestic violence and trauma. Jessica has a passion for helping people overcome and process difficult situations and experiences and stands alongside her clients in helping them reach their goals. In addition to her patient care at Silva Family Therapy, Jessica continues to work at a community level specializing in mental health, substance use, and trauma at New Leaf Recovery Center, where she has filled roles as a lead, site supervisor, and is presently an Assistant Program Manager. Jessica is trained in EMDR and uses a variety of evidence-based approaches to help clients work through depression, anxiety, trauma, and other challenges. Jessica offers a variety of options for services, including in-person, telehealth, or phone sessions. She has flexible scheduling options including nights and weekends.
